Tarapunj Resort operating in Chitwan’s Bharatpur Metropolitan City Ward No. 07 Krishnapur has sold its 51% share. Established hotel chain Yellow Pagoda has purchased a 51% stake in the resort.
According to Anil Rajbhandari, President of Hotel Yellow Pagoda, the name of the resort was changed to Hotel Yellow Pagoda Chitwan from 2080 Shrawan 01. The management will also be of Hotel Yellow Pagoda. According to him, the Capital will be increased to 25 crores and the hotel will be operated with star level facilities. The second branch of the chain hotel Yellow Pagoda, which started its service from Kathmandu Jamal Kantipath, is located in Damside of Pokhara, while this branch is the third in operation in Bharatpur.
51% of the shares have been sold to Hotel Yellow Pagoda, while the remaining 49% of the shares belong to enterprising businessmen of Chitwan, said Regan Pant, director of Tarapunj Resort. Pant also said that the shareholders who want to leave will be dealt with by the end of August after completing the legal process.
He says that in the field of hospitality, Hotel Yellow Pagoda is one of the established brands in Nepal, and he is proud to introduce the brand to Chitwan.
Tarpunj Resort, which has been operating since Chaitra 01, 2075, in an area of about 23 kata, had earned a good reputation in a short time.
