KATHMANDU, Sept 6: The Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has directed all internet service providers (ISPs) to lift the ban on TikTok. Following the government’s decision to lift the ban on TikTok on August 22 with certain conditions, the NTA issued a directive on Friday to all ISPs to allow the use of TikTok. “Until further notice, the ban on TikTok should be lifted using the authority granted under Section 15 of the Telecommunications Act, 2053.
