The government announced the budget of 18 trillion 60 billion 30 million for the next financial year on Tuesday.
Finance Minister Barshaman Pun presented the budget in Parliament on Tuesday and allocated 11 trillion 40 billion 66 billion rupees for current expenditure, 3 trillion 52 billion 35 billion rupees for capital and 3 trillion 67 billion rupees for financial management.
The allocated budget for the next financial year is 21.56 percent more than the revised budget of the current financial year.
The government has allocated 86.24 billion rupees for the health sector and 92.42 billion rupees for urban development. 2 trillion 3 billion 66 crore rupees have been allocated for the education sector.
