Kathmandu. The government has decided to close Tiktok in Nepal.
The cabinet meeting held today has decided to shut down Tiktok.
Government Spokesperson Rekha Sharma informed that the decision to close Tik Tok and its coordination by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology was decided by the Cabinet meeting.
She said that the government has decided to close down Tik Tok as there are activities that disrupt social harmony in Nepal recently.
According to him, the Council of Ministers meeting has also decided to mention Nepal Samvat in the Nepali calendar as Bikram Samvat. Nepal Sambat has already been announced as a national Sambat.
Since it has not been practically implemented, the government has decided to mention Nepal in the official documents that will be mentioned in Bikram Sambat on the occasion of Nepal Sambat 1144 starting from 28th October 2080.
