KATHMANDU: 128 people have died in Jajarkot and Rukum in the earthquake which was centered in Jajarkot.
Similarly, the earthquake has caused severe damage in the neighboring district of Rukum West.
A powerful earthquake, with a magnitude of 6.4, struck on Friday night at 11:47 PM, with its epicenter located in Ramidanda, Jajarkot.
The earthquake has resulted in a tragic loss of life, with 92 fatalities reported in Jajarkot and 36 in the neighboring district of Rukum West.
Many homes have been reduced to rubble, and the local residents are facing a dire situation.
They are urgently appealing for assistance and rescue efforts to alleviate their suffering.
