KATHMANDU: A multiple-vehicle incident in the Tikauli forest in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-9 today injured at least 20 individuals.

According to the Chitwan District Police Office, a college bus (Na 1 Ka 6131) travelling from Bharatpur to Tandi collided head-on with a Bolero (Na 2 Cha 8446), resulting in a multi-vehicle disaster.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bijaya Raj Pandit, seven of the injured are in critical condition and are being treated at separate hospitals.


Twelve of them are being treated at the Bharatpur Hospital, seven at the Medical College of Science Teaching Hospital, and one at the Chitwan Medical College.

The school bus driver was detained by police.
