Kathmandu: The ruling coalition parties have finalized the power sharing deal and decided to give full shape to the cabinet by Thursday evening.
The meeting of the top leaders of the coalition held today has struck the power sharing deal along with the decision to fully expand the council of ministers by Thursday evening.
Talking to the reporters, the leader of Janata Samajbadi Party Rajendra Shreshtha said that the cabinet will be given full shape by tomorrow evening.
‘The sharing of ministerial portfolios has been almost finalized,’ Shreshtha said, ‘Council of Ministers will get full shape by tomorrow evening and 9 political parties, except Rastriya Janamorcha, will join the government.’
The rulings parties have also agreed to submit the names of aspiring ministers to prime minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’. Shrestha said that the new ministers will be sworn in on Thursday after PM Dahal holds further talks with the leaders of the coalition.
Shreshtha, however, did not give any information about the ministerial portfolios to be headed by coalition parties.
